As seen in the ETC (DSRC) and car navigation systems, the IT functions in cars are becoming increasingly advanced. Also, IT integration in transport systems and cars, such as networked navigation and probe information systems, is being realized on a large scale.

We announce that ITS EXPO Tokyo will be held over three days from Wednesday, July 13 to Friday, July 15, 2005. The main theme is "Integration in Mobility/Transport and Information/Communication."
The Expo aims at disseminating Japan's cutting-edge ITS to the world to expand the market. The venue is Tokyo Big Sight, where special ITS areas will be established as annexes to the exhibition, Expo Comm Wireless Japan, specializing in wireless broadband and mobile networks.
