Expo Comm Wireless Japan 2004 will propose to corporate users business solutions enabling the construction of corporate networks that permit intranets to be accessed from outside the company, visual communications using high-precision still and moving images, mobile computing allowing prompt information collection/transmission, and security measures protecting confidential information from unauthorized access in wireless environments.
Mobile telephony and radio LAN are now widely used as information communication networks indispensable in daily life and business. The show will introduce those systems that are required for R&D in infrastructure for information communications in these wireless environments. Examples include base station antennas, storages, radio measuring instruments, analyzers and software for evaluation.
Those involved in communications equipment R&D will be able to find information on the diverse devices that comprise mobile telephones, PDAs, notebook PCs, radio LAN access points, routers and other equipment. Devices presented include semiconductor products related to basic technologies, microprocessors and memory, operating systems, middleware and applications. Conceptual models and prototypes of next generation mobile terminals may also be presented.
In the ubiquitous society, many different devices are connected to the Internet, including mobile telephones, personal handyphone systems, vehicle-mounted equipment and computerized electric home appliances. Meanwhile, the mobile content market continues to grow. The show will present tools for producing applications for mobile telephony, tools for optimizing HTML pages and shot images, technologies to support development that can improve the quality of content and demonstrations of applications that take advantage of flat-rate systems for packets.
