This presentation introduces R&D strategy and activities in the field of wireless communications of National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT). The R&D center of wireless communications of NICT is located in Yokosuka Research Park (YRP). Its main mission is to promote and to carry out collaborative R&D projects with industries and academia, which are managed and operated by YRP R&D Promotion Committee consisting of over 70 members of industries and academia. NICT has the Asia Research Center in Bangkok, Thailand, to promote collaborative RD& programs and standardization with Asian countries. Activities of Asia Research Center are also introduced.
